Plan a grief summit for your faith-based organization that discusses the various types of
deaths, practical tools for finding peace and ways to navigate the unknown terrain of
grief. Begin with a general lecture on grief by a trained professional, followed by a large-
group Q&A. Next, break out into groups based on types of loss, including, but not
limited to the death of a spouse, parent, child, death under 30 or death by addiction or
suicide. Leave time for Q&A. The event can be split into two-days or hosted as an all-
day summit.
