Consider offering a six-week support group designed to be a safe space for fellow mourners to travel together the rocky terrain of grief. Through meditative prayer; sharing of personal story; and teaching from the spiritual, psychological, and mind-body literature, we move towards Paula D’Arcy’s promise that grief is: “An invitation that intimates that something both deeper and greater than loss holds the promise that pain is not an end but a doorway.”
